Responsibilities
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
Monitor patients' health status and report any changes to the registered nurse or physician
Assist with the implementation of patient care plans and provide basic nursing care
Ensure the safety and comfort of patients by attending to their physical and emotional needs
Perform routine procedures, such as taking vital signs, collecting samples for lab testing, and assisting with medical examinations
Document patient information, including medical histories, symptoms, and treatments, accurately and efficiently
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care
Educate patients and their families about their conditions and provide support and guidance
Maintain a clean and organized work environment and adhere to infection control protocols
Stay updated with current healthcare practices and participate in continuous education programs
Requirements
Valid LPN license in the state of practice
Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program
Minimum of 2 years of experience as an LPN
Knowledge of nursing principles and practices
Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work well in a team environment
Proficiency in electronic medical records and other relevant healthcare software
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
