Responsibilities:
Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN)
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
Assist with resident assessments and care planning
Monitor and document patient status and progress
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
Provide emotional support and encouragement to residents and their families
Qualifications:
Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Alabama
Compassionate and caring attitude with a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility is preferred, but not required
