Licensed Practical Nurse

JOB TITLE (#1552):
Licensed Practical Nurse / Staff Nurse- Jersey City, NJ
Minimum of 1 year nursing home experience is preferred
Impact Recruiting Solutions is currently seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to fill an opening with a long-term care and sub-acute facility located in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Scheduleof theLicensed Practical Nurse / Staff Nurse:
This is for a Full-time, Part-time or Per Diem position
Day and night shifts available
Expected hours:
7.5 – 37.5 per week
Monday to Friday, rotating weekends, weekends as needed
Supplemental schedule:
Holidays, On-call, Overtime
Responsibilitiesof theLicensed Practical Nurse / Staff Nurse:
The staff nurse will perform direct services for residents/patients
Administer medications and provide treatments
Provide personal care to facilitate continual assessment and evaluation, and assist with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Coordinate the communication of the resident/patient care needs with members of the other disciplines.
Identify and delegate suitable components of care to CNA;
supervise, educate, andprovide guidance as necessary.
Functions independently with minimal direction from the unit manager;
assumes charge and staff nurse responsibilities as assigned.
Participate in the nursing quality assurance programs.
Requirements
Must hold a current, valid NJ LPN License
At least 1 year experience in a nursing home is preferred
