Job Description
Join our corporate Law Department in our global headquarters located in Jersey City, NJ where we have a flexible hybrid work model.
Implement and support processes and solutions that enable Legal, Compliance and Audit (LC&
A) to efficiently execute its day-to-day operations;
enable LC&
A team members to focus on their craft and serve customers more effectively by applying the best and right-sized business and technical practices to the delivery of LC&
A services
Play a key role in simplifying and streamlining legal contracting. Relevant duties include, but are not limited to:
Organization and management of the administration, processing, storage, and reporting associated with all corporate sell-side agreements
Facilitate operational efficiencies in Verisk’s contracting environment, leveraging appropriate tools (including CRM and CLM) and staff alongside re-visiting processesAlign with relevant stakeholders on business needs and opportunities to develop an actionable roadmap for contracting
Assess and identify opportunities for improvement in contracting practices;
stay ahead and informedof emerging technologies and capabilities, incorporating them into the roadmap as appropriate
Re-design complex workflows and develop simplified, elegant solutions keeping ease of use and user experience top of mind
Serve as the business contact and departmental representative for the CLM system
Along with fellow team members, facilitate the establishment of a contract administration “Center of Excellence”
Generate reports and develop dashboards on contract activity
Participate and partner in requirements gathering and problem-solving with internal stakeholders to contribute towards solutions and recommendations to meet desired departmental and organizational objectives
Assist in evaluation of technologies and underlying process requirements to assess future needs and make recommendations;
identify scalable toolsand implement them. Also, drive the use of technology and automation systems to improve department operations.
Support LC&
A learning and development, including inform management of recurring issues or when additional team training may be required;
also, develop and coordinate training for LC&
A team members on relevant topics and systems
Participate in and contribute to legal spend management initiatives, as well as budgeting and reforecasting
Support and facilitate the establishment and use of metrics, KPIs, OKRs, and success criteria across operations, activities, projects, and efforts
Facilitate and enhance knowledge management through maintaining resources on the intranet, Sharepoint and Teams
Participate in various special LC&
A projects and perform other duties as assigned
