Integrity Urgent Care is a leading healthcare care provider that is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services. We are seeking a skilled Benefit Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR systems such as ADP. As a Benefits Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that employees receive comprehensive and competitive benefits packages. Your responsibilities will revolve around managing various aspects of employee benefits programs, from enrollment to administration and ongoing support. You will serve as the primary point of contact for employees regarding their benefits-related inquiries and concerns, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
Responsibilities:
The Benefits Specialist will manage the HRIS system concerning benefits, carrier connections, file feeds, new hire benefits, life events, and 401K for all employees.
Ensure carrier connections and file feeds are working appropriately between HRIS and vendors weekly. Will work with carrier connections to ensure new locations are added and properly mapped.
Responsible for reconciling bills and ensuring timely submission to AP. Ensure benefit notifications stay active in the HRIS system.
An open, inclusive, team-oriented work style and the ability to collaborate and build strong relationships with employees and leaders at all levels of the organization.
Ability to interact with all levels of the company, including staff, providers and leadership, as well as representatives from legal counsel, regulatory compliance agencies and the general public.
Collaborate with benefit broker, CEO, and CFO on benefit pricing for employees each year. Develop benefit booklet yearly and will present benefits during new employee orientation (NEO).
Host open enrollment for all eligible employees, and will work with the HRIS system for any vendor changes or carrier connections needed. Will work with HRIS to ensure open enrollment feeds over and employees are active Jan 1.
Manage our 401K plans, distributions, loans, waivers, submissions for change with Vendor, and yearly auditing with our 401K broker and financial advisor.
Manage leave of absences in our HRIS along with employee portion amounts due to a leave.
Ability to thrive and pivot in a fast-paced work environment while navigating change.
Other duties as assigned, this is a safety sensitive position.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred, Associates Required.
PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP preferred.
At least 2 years of benefits administration experience.
PC and mainframe computer knowledge required. Must be knowledgeable of employment laws.
Proven experience working with HR systems like ADP.
Knowledge of benefits administration and compliance.
Familiarity with FMLA regulations and workers' compensation procedures.
Ability to conduct employee evaluations and provide feedback.
Experience in data collection and analysis for HR metrics.
Strong understanding of payroll processes and working with ADP system.
