Job Description
What Your Impact Will Be:
Implement the Quality and Compliance process for Mattel branded product sold and distributed through alternate channels (i.E., live events, promotional items, distribution only, etc).
Evaluate product proposals to determine appropriate regulatory and Mattel internal requirements.
Develop alternative design suggestions where necessary to meet compliance and/or safety requirements.
Work with licensees and vendors to ensure product expectations and requirements are understood and met.
Review and approve test results from 3rd party laboratories.
Collaborate with the Regulations and Compliance Team to maintain awareness and knowledge of local, international and voluntary regulations, standards and proposals for product safety.
Assist licensees and vendors in monitoring and controlling crucial processes for components and products.
Travel (local and international) as needed to licensees, manufacturing facilities and Mattel offices to support the implementation of new business process.
