Position Details
Roles Available:
Part-time Lead Educator for Enrichment program that serves 2-5 year olds;
Part-time Lead Educatorprogram that serves our 2 year olds
Hours:
Enrichment Lead Teacher:
12-3:
15 PM Monday through Friday;
2s Lead Teacher:
Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:
45 AM-1:
00PM
Responsibilities:
-Maintain a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
-Monitor students' progress and provide feedback to ensure they are meeting developmental milestones.
-Record observations and summarize children's development for written progress reports at the middle and end of year.
-Create engaging and educational activities that promote social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
-Collaborate with other preschool teachers, aides, and administrative staff to improve teaching strategies and classroom management techniques.
Requirements
Minimum of a CDA (Child Development Associate) or equivalent certification in Early Childhood Education
Experience working with children aged 2-5
Strong knowledge of child development principles and best practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A nurturing and patient approach towards children
Ability to work collaboratively with parents and other staff members
Clearances and Background Checks:
1. FBI Clearance
2. PA Child Abuse Clearance and PA State Police Criminal Check
3. NSOR
4. Two written references
