Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Lead HVAC Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of installers in the installation of HVAC systems in commercial and residential properties. The Lead HVAC Installer will also be responsible for ensuring that all installations are completed in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of installers in the installation of HVAC systems in commercial and residential properties
- Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and specifications to determine the layout and installation of HVAC systems
- Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely completion of installations
- Ensure that all installations are completed according to industry standards and company procedures
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure installations meet customer expectations
- Train and mentor new installers on proper installation techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
- Communicate with clients in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns or issues that may arise during installations
- Keep accurate records of time and materials used for each project
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HVAC installation
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and installation techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
