As the Lead Engineer, Technology Quality Assurance, you will create and manage bots with detention charge and spot bidding features, as well as identify, design, and create use cases for API automation of business processes. What you'll do on a typical day:

• Create and manage bots with detention charge and spot bidding features
• Identify, design, and create use cases for API automation of business processes
• Analyze business requirements to create functional specifications and design documents
• Define scope of testing for applications and create required documentation;
  generate time and cost estimates
• Perform QA testing per test documentation, including regression testing, system testing, white-box testing and black-box testing of new applications and enhancements to existing applications;
  update test documentation with information gathered during QA testing
• Eligible for telecommuting from home within reasonable commuting distance from Portland, OR

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or closely related field
• 4 years of post-bachelor's progressive experience in all of the following:
  
  • API Developing or Automation Engineering
  • HTML, MS-Excel &
    Databases with SQL
  • Postman RPA tool;
    Shell scripting, UNIX, Oracle, PL/SQL, Java/C++/C#, HTML, ERP, REST Services, and Selenium
  • Automating at UI/API/database level and applying automation in testing
  • Test case management tools - Jira and Zephyr
  • Reading code and participating in code reviews
• 2 years of post-bachelor's progressive experience in the following:
  
  • Technical stack in Cross Dock application with the ability to identify testing that can be applied
