JOB DUTIES:

Participate in design, develop, maintain, and enhance application using JAVA/J2EE for Warehouse Management System in Agile Software Development methodology. Lead the architectural design and development of Angular applications, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements and translate business needs into efficient and effective technical solutions. Provide thoughtful leadership and technical guidance to drive innovation and improvements in application design and development. Research business problems, propose software solutions and mentor junior programmers in the department. Provide estimates and create functional specifications and detailed design specifications for programs to be developed;
convert system designs and technical specifications into program code for complex applications. Champion the use of light-weight architectures, modern web standards, and best practices to optimize application performance and reduce load times. Debug and troubleshoot existing program codes and correct errors as required;
provide Level-2 supportto resolve systems-related issues. Oversee software releases to production in a controlled, methodical manner and verify systems are stable after patching. Participate as a high-level technical expert in design development, coding, testing, and debugging new software or significant enhancements to existing software for third-party customers;
work with technical staff to understand problems with software and develop specifications to resolve them. Proficient in performing data transformation and data mappings using Spring Boot micro services and ensure that application meet the requirements for compatibility, extensibility, reliability, security, etc. Proficient in using core technologies like Java/J2EE, Spring framework, Web Service, SQL, design patterns and JUnit framework. Responsible for creating and maintaining architecture for Restful API using Spring Boot. Experienced in developing complex PL/SQL queries, Procedures, Triggers, Stored Procedures, Packages and Views in various databases such as Oracle, AS400, SQL. Secured APIs using OAuth2.0 token-based authentication/authorization scheme using Spring Security. Availability to work periodic 24x7 on-call support as required by team's scheduled rotation. Eligible for telecommuting from home within reasonable commuting distance from High Point, NC. Will require physical presence at worksite in High Point, NC at least several days a week.

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics and Instrumentation, Software Development, or related field

Experience must include four (4) years post bachelors progressive experience in all of the following:

1. Architecting and developing large and scalable web-based applications.
2. Java programming and object-oriented concepts and design patterns.

Experience must include three (3) years post bachelors progressive experience in all of the following:

1. Angular 10 and Typescript.

Experience must include two (2) years post bachelors progressive experience in all of the following:

1. JavaScript and TypeScript and Angular and Java and Spring framework (Boot) and Unix and PL/SQL commands and Apache Tomcat Server.
2. Designing and implementing microservices using the spring boot framework. Connecting microservices to interact with databases.
3. Oracle databases or SQL Server databases or SQL or SQL Server Management Studio.
4. Linux operating system.
5. Applications production support or application development environment.
6. SOAP and RESTful web services. Implement encryption, security protocols while safeguarding sensitive information at rest and in transit.
