Access Services is hiring Lead Clinicians of Individual Services for our IBHS Individual Services program who will supervise Mobile Therapists/Behavior Consultants. The Lead Clinician will also provide direct services to children and adolescents and their caregivers across southeastern Pennsylvania.
As Lead Clinician, this supervisor of Behavior Consultants will provide clinical direction for the implementation of individual services, developing and revising Individualized Treatment Plans (ITP), and overseeing the implementation of the ITP with the client, client’s family, and the treatment team. Additionally, the Lead Clinician will supervise Mobile Therapists as they provide individual and family therapy to address the emotional needs of the clients Individualized Treatment Plans. A critical part of supervision will be the ensuring of all staff providing regulatory compliance.
Essential Functions of the Lead Clinician:

Engage children, youth, and young adults and their families and care providers to support thorough assessment of medical need for Intensive Behavioral Health Services.
Prepare an assessment of medical need for services that identifies target behaviors, replacements behaviors, and that establishes criteria for discharge.
Develop an individual treatment plan for each child, youth, and young adult that addresses the target behaviors of concern by mapping the replacement of those behaviors with timelines and clear interventions that identify those responsible for implementation and the therapeutic needs to support and sustain change.
Monitor progress in each child, youth, and young adult at least weekly to ensure progress according to each individual treatment plan.
Maintain regular contact with families/caregivers to consult on behavior presentation, skill acquisition, concerns, and successes.In addition, support the families/caregivers to learn and practice new skills, as specified in the individual treatment team.
Participate in regular treatment team meetings to support clinical improvement, case review, and staff development.
Address discharge planning through the treatment process with the family/caregivers and child, youth, or young adult being served.
Develop a robust discharge plan using the resources provided by the IBHS leadership team to support the child, youth, young adult and family/care providers to maintain and continue to solidify the new changes.
Communicate regularly with and supervise behavioral consultants, mobile therapists and behavioral health technicians assigned to shared cases according to IBHS guidelines.
Provide individual and family therapy to clients in their community setting.
Other:
Maintain regular and predictable attendance, and work scheduled overtime, or be available for unplanned overtime as necessary, to meet program needs.
This position requires the ability to travel during a normal workday to successfully carry out the expectations of this position. Therefore, the Lead Clinician must meet eligibility criteria in Motor Vehicle Policy Employee and pass the agency’s substance abuse screening at any time during employment.
Requirements
Education:

Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or related field (required)
Certification and/or Licensing:

Be licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a psychologist, professional counselor, marriage and family therapist or clinical social worker.
OR:

Be licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as a social worker or a behavior specialist
AND
Have a graduate degree that required a clinical or mental health direct servicepracticum from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the UnitedStates Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or
Have an equivalent degree from a foreign college or university that has been evaluatedbythe Association of International Credential Evaluators, Inc. or the National Associationof Credential Evaluation Services.
Experience:

One year of full-time post master's degree experience providing behavioral health services required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with all levels of staff and the public.
Ability to effectively work as part of a team as well as independently.
Ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.
Thorough knowledge of rules and guidelines mandated by medical assistant and managed care systems as well as CASSP (Child Adolescent Service System Program) principles.
Proficiency in, or ability to learn and use, workplace applications, platforms and technologies.
