IMAGINE THE FUTURE WITH ENVALIOR
As a Lead Buyer at Envalior, you will identify and mitigate business risks caused by single source positions and changes in market dynamics. You will lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing purchasing strategy for categories of indirect materials
Additionally, you'll embrace a pioneering spirit, exploring new methods to enhance our processes and techniques.

Requirements
To lead cross-functional teams in developing and implementing purchasing strategy for categories of indirect materials which belong to the responsibility of the buyer as to deliver maximized Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) savings for these categories in cooperation with Envalior Indirect Procurement Team.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement purchasing activities for site-specific categories.
Define and lead cross-functional purchasing teams.
Manage relationships / partnerships with internal customers.
Develop and manage relationship with suppliers and track their performance.
Contract Manager role for site-specific categories:
implement contract and ensure contract compliance.
Closely monitor internal customers contract compliance;
define and take approved corrective actions to improve contract compliance and supplier performance.
Position will be based in Evansville, IN and will support both the Evansville, IN and Gastonia, NC sites, with regular travel to Gastonia, NC.
The Ideal
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in indirect procurement.
A bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in procurement and/or relevant technical discipline.
Strong communication and negotiating skills.
The ability to build relationships and coordinate effectively among a wide range of (internal and external) stakeholders.
An analytic and resourceful mindset and is able to prioritize tasks.
A proactive approach to working with internal stakeholders to develop effective solutions to business situations.
The ability to respond to changes in the business environment and modify strategies when necessary.
Quality, Environment, Safety and Health
Implement QESH structures and systems, in line with Envalior guidelines and systems, to meet legal obligations, guarantee the quality of processes and services and ensure a safe and healthy working place for employees.
Organizational Structure and Development
Establish and manage the cost-effective and efficient structure for the site Purchasing functions, ensuring clear governance with well-defined policies and operational processes.
Finance, Administration and Reporting
Develop, obtain approval for, and oversee the annual cost budget for the Purchasing strategy.
