Tierra Biosciences, a venture capital backed life science company, has pioneered a novel high-throughput protein production platform that produces hundreds of custom proteins on-demand. We are looking for a Laboratory Associate who will be responsible for performing lab duties in support of our research projects.
Requirements
JOB DUTIES
Follow work procedures according to GMPs and SOPs to meet production schedules.
Prepare materials for production batches.
Assist with packaging and labeling finished products.
Assist with other tasks as needed.
Prepare Internal Reagents.
Identify and alert supervisor of any issues with production batches.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
AS degree or equivalent technical skills preferred.
2+ years of work experience in a research laboratory or related field.
Sound knowledge of standard laboratory procedures, equipment, and record keeping skills.
Previous work experience in biotech or biopharmaceutical industry preferred.
PREFERRED SKILLS
Proficient in Word/Excel/PowerPoint.
Good organization skill, flexibility, and capability of multi-tasking.

This is a non-exempt position with a projected salary range of $25 to $35 per hour, based on qualifications.
