Labor And Delivery Registered Nurse

We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Labor and Delivery RN at NCG Associates, you will have the opportunity to provide specialized care to expectant mothers and their babies during the labor and delivery process.
Responsibilities
Assess and monitor the progress of labor, including vital signs and fetal heart rate
Administer medications and pain management techniques as prescribed
Assist with prenatal examinations and assessments
Provide emotional support and education to expectant mothers and their families
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized birth plans
Assist with the delivery process and postpartum care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Adhere to all applicable healthcare regulations and protocols
Stay current on labor and delivery best practices and participate in ongoing professional development
Requirements
Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Minimum of 2 years of experience in labor and delivery nursing
Strong knowledge of labor and delivery procedures, techniques, and standards of practice
Excellent clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to remain calm and provide support in high-pressure situations
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
BLS certification (Basic Life Support)
ACLS certification (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) preferred

Certificates Required:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP |Must have taken a fetal monitoring class (intermediate or advanced) within the past 24 months.
