Job Description
Isobar Public Sector is seeking a Kubernetes SME. Successful candidates should have senior knowledge and hands-on experience in design, build, and running elastic, cost-effective, resilient, robust, and secure architectures in the cloud. In this role you will support Offensive Cyber Operations and deploying a DevSecOps platform in multiple cloud environments.

What You’ll Do
Provide technical/management leadership on major tasks or technology assignments. Establish goals and plans that meet project objective.
Designs, build, and run elastic, cost-effective, resilient, robust, and secure architectures in the cloud using modern approaches like service mesh and loosely coupled design.
Maintain, configure, and monitor containers using Infrastructure as Code principles in Development, Test, and Live environments.
Design and implement Network connectivity, Provisioning Strategy Assess and Design RBAC needs to Ensure Cloud foundation is strong and with needed compliance requirements.
Design containerized solutions for relational/non-relational databases, data auditing, caching, and performance. Work with other Architects on Security, Data protection, and Failover Failback strategies.
Create and maintain documentation for implementations.
Design and implement Kubernetes solutions built in the cloud and at the edge.
Implement Continuous Integration, Delivery, and Deployment using different CI/CD tools by container registries.
Build and maintain IaC for edge Kubernetes deployments
Who You Are
A US Citizen and possess or can obtain a Secret Security Clearance.
Residency in the US required due to clearance requirements.
8 plus years of experience with DevSecOps methodologies and tools, including CI/CD, GitOps, and static and dynamic testing.
5 plus years working with edge and hybrid edge deployments
3 plus years of experience providing technical guidance to other engineers in an Agile environment.
5 plus years of experience in-depth, hands-on experience with packaging and securing applications as containers and working in Kubernetes.
Have in-depth, hands-on experience building platforms at scale for containerized workloads leveraging Kubernetes, including cluster provisioning, operations, workload optimization, custom controllers/operators, workflow orchestration, logging monitoring, security, and troubleshooting.
Detailed understanding of core concepts for Kubernetes APIs and cluster architecture, as well as services and networking.
Experience working with GitOps and Continuous Deployment in hybrid environments.
Expert-level knowledge of Kubernetes, Istio, and Helm.
Experience creating custom Helm charts.
Advanced hands-on experience building bare metal deployments using a mix of the following:
Proxmox
Redfish
PXE
CEPH
OPNsense
MetalLB
Advanced experience with Ansible playbooks and roles
Advanced experience with Linux and Linux administration
Experience with Crossplane deployments is a plus
Security and compliance experience for Kubernetes.
Strong client-facing and communication skills.
Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification is a plus.
Experience working with Platform One is a plus.
