As a Kohler Diesel Generator Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of diesel generators. Your expertise will ensure that our clients' generators are running efficiently and effectively, providing them with a reliable source of power.
What you'll do:
Install, maintain, and repair Kohler diesel generators
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, and battery checks
Troubleshoot and diagnose generator issues
Repair or replace faulty generator components
Ensure generators are operating within safety guidelines and regulations
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients
Requirements
Prior experience as a diesel generator technician (Kohler experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of diesel engines and electrical systems
Experience with generator installation and maintenance
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose generator issues
Familiarity with safety guidelines and regulations for generator operations
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Good communication and customer service skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
Availability for on-call and emergency service calls as needed
