As a Journeyman Pump Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting various types of pumps used in industrial settings. Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance on pumps to ensure optimal performance
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with pumps
Replace worn-out or damaged parts in pumps
Troubleshoot and resolve pump performance problems
Perform pump alignments and balancing
Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify pump issues
Follow safety protocols and regulations
Document all work performed and maintain accurate service records
Collaborate with team members and clients to ensure efficient pump operations
Requirements
Proven experience as a Journeyman Pump Mechanic
Valid journeyman pump mechanic certification or equivalent
Strong knowledge of various types of pumps and their maintenance
Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues with pumps
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Good understanding of safety protocols in an industrial setting
Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment
Effective communication and collaboration skills
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Willingness to work flexible schedules and respond to emergency calls
