Job Description:
ACT1 Federal is seeking a Sensitive Activities Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead our Combatant Command Joint Operations Support Staff (JOSS)
This program provides support to the USSPACECOM signature reduction Joint Operations Support Staff. Generally, you will provide the client with sensitive activities and SR augmentation to the Government staff in the execution of the command sensitive activities and SR program. The client anticipates a high level of knowledge on the full breadth of sensitive activities and SR supporting worldwide operations.
Responsibilities:
- Understanding requirements for sensitive activities support to space operations
- Identifying, establishing, and maintaining liaison contacts and communications within Combatant Command, Service and DoD Program channels for formal and informal coordination to effectively leverage and expedite support to the development, staffing, activation, execution, and termination of plans as well as other required actions and communications
- Creating, drafting, coordinating, implementing executing and managing plans, amendments, annexes, mechanisms, assessments and associated documentation in direct support to space sensitive activities and SR programs
- Establishing and implementing processes for requests pertaining to development and its processes to include requests for mechanisms, requests for sponsorship and systems support
- Creating annexes to plans as mission requirements evolve
- Assisting the government in creating mechanisms as detailed
- Developing and delivering required products IAW policies/regulations. Deliver up to four plans or assessments as recommended by mission parameters within each contract year in support of client efforts
- Conducting due diligence assessments
- Conducting compliance reviews to include periodic inspections, audits, and inventories IAW governing DOD guidance and applicable client regulations
- Drafting and maintaining policies and procedures for the command and support the review of plans and/or Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or other regulatory documents to ensure compliance
- Creating, sustaining, and implementing plans relating to space operations
- Facilitating transition of support to space operations for Government client
- Familiarity working within the Joint Community (processes, structure, C2, etc..)
- Reporting significant events/incidents
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to be SAP cleared
- BA/BS degree or additional related experience
- FOSS or equivalent training:
Advanced Technician Course, Advanced Planners Course, Due Diligence Course
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience working in DoD Signature Reduction
- 8+ years overall experience
Preferred:
- MA/MS degree
- Seven (7) years of experience working in DoD Signature Reduction
