Job Description:

The IT SecurityAnalyst/DevOps Engineer is a member of the Oracle Managed Cloud Services teamresponsible for security architecture, engineering, and automation for theservices provided by Managed Cloud Services Security team, as well as thebroader Customer Services organization. This position will be acontributor in developing security automation, processes, and programs used byMCS Security in meeting its charter and objectives, as well as effectivelymanaging security risks in the solutions and services provided by OMCS overall.


Within the MCS Security team, you will join a fast-paced organizationresponsible for keeping Oracle’s Federal, Commercial and other Regulatedenvironments and data secure. As a member of this high performing team,you will design and implement security automation to improve efficiency,performance, and reliability.

The IT SecurityAnalyst/DevOps Engineer collaborates with cross department efforts to drivevulnerability remediation and ensure compliance throughout MCS’s cloud andon-prem environments including Linux and Windows servers, networking devices,security appliances, applications, and databases. Additionally, you willpromote improvements in configuration management, provisioning, software deployment,vulnerability identification, and security compliance.


Skills:

Strongunderstanding of information security risk management concepts, frameworks, andindustry standards. Extensive NIST800-53, PCI DSS, or FedRAMP experience is a must.

Experience with commercial security products and closing gaps throughdevelopment, automation, APIintegrations, as well as researching and closing software vulnerabilities viapatching. Broad technical background ininfrastructure and Cloud applications with the acumen and ability to interprettechnical specs and architect solutions.

Excellentcommunication skills, analytical capability, judgment, self-driven,multi-tasking, proactivity, and willingness to adapt to change in dynamic,global environment are critical.

Developer skillset should include Python, Ruby, shell scripting,terraform, as well as RDBMS. Experienceworking in a DevOps environment with exposure to CI/CD technologies, namelyGit, Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Jenkins, etc.


Qualifications:

5+ years ITexperience including cloud computing, server computing, information security,and other infrastructure IT areas with at least 3+ years of IT Securityexperience across multiple hardware platforms, technologies, OS’s, software,and applications · Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP),Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), GIAC Certified Incident Handler(GCIH), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and Certified InformationSecurity Manager (CISM) certifications are a plus. BS in Computer Science is preferred.

Required:

Must be a USCitizen and comfortable working with U.S. Federal civilian and militarycustomers in a highly regulated and complex environment. Candidate must reside in United States and bea U.S. Citizen. Existing clearances area plus.
