Job Description
The IT Network Engineer I approaches their tasks and assigned duties in a team-based care fashion that supports Salud employees while adhering to the spirit of the Salud mission statement.
The IT Network Engineer I provides direct support to Salud employees via communication tools such as Teams, Email, Phone, or Salud’s Ticketing System;
and by going onsite to all Salud locations (as needed) to resolve routine networking-related issues. Responsible for contributing to the evaluation, design, implementation, and maintenance of the data networks and technologies that comprise Salud Family Health’s network infrastructure including LAN/WAN interfaces, network switches, network security and performance, and all hardware components of an enterprise network infrastructure.

Starting Wage - $34.34to $39.49per hour
Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm(with after-hours/overtime work as needed)

Specific Duties
Documents all practices and procedures
Identifiesand reports security violations
Monitors public security notifications, determine those that apply to Salud, and help develop an appropriate response plan
Assists in the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, wireless access points, and additional networking components
Collaborates with the IT Network Engineer II on the design of networks and upgrades including LANs, WANs, WLANs, VLANs, SDWAN, Cloud, and Internet connections
Partners with vendors, clients, carriers, and technical staff on network implementation, optimization, and ongoing management
Uses software to monitor the network
Works in conjunction with Medical Providers, Medical Assistants, Enrollment Specialists, Customer Service Associate,and all other staff to ensure that patients obtain the highest standard of integrated healthcare
Follows procedures for the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system
Administers physical equipment (including but not limited to) Uninterruptable Power Supplies, PA Systems, &
Wireless Access Points
Works with other teams and Salud staff as needed to perform duties and maintain healthy relationships
Performs other duties as assigned
