Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

On-Site Support:
Visit client locations (such as offices, data centres, or remote sites) to address technical issues.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware and software components.
Resolve network connectivity problems.
Set up and maintain printers, scanners, and other peripherals.
Hardware Maintenance:
Diagnose and repair hardware failures (e.G., laptops, desktops, servers, switches).
Replace faulty components (e.G., hard drives, RAM, power supplies).
Perform preventive maintenance (cleaning, updates, backups).
Software Support:
Assist users with software installations, updates, and patches.
Troubleshoot software-related issues (e.G., operating systems, applications).
Provide guidance on best practices for software usage.
Network Administration:
Configure and manage network devices (routers, switches, firewalls).
Troubleshoot network connectivity issues.
Monitor network performance and security.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of service requests, resolutions, and equipment inventory.
Prepare reports on system performance, incidents, and recommendations.
Customer Service:
Communicate effectively with end-users, understanding their technical needs and providing timely solutions.
Ensure excellent customer satisfaction through professional interactions.
Vendor Management:
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
Evaluate vendor performance and manage relationships effectively.
