IT Associate / Office Administrative Assistant
Job Overview:
Neal R. Gross and Co. is a leading Court Reporting and Transcription services company and have provided nationwide services for more than 45 years. We are seeking a motivated and tech-savvy individual to join our team as an Entry-Level IT Technician &
Office Administrator. In this role, you will provide technical support to our staff and assist in managing various office tasks and special projects. This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with technology, has excellent organizational skills, and thrives in a dynamic, collaborative work environment.
This role is an eight-hour shift (8am-5pm), Monday through Friday with occasional remote work opportunities.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
IT Support:
Provide technical support to employees regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related problems promptly.
Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, printers, and other peripherals.
Assist in managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, including servers and network devices.
Conduct regular system updates and ensure software licenses are up to date.
Assist in data backup and recovery procedures.
Help Desk Operations:
Respond to help desk tickets and prioritize tasks based on urgency.
Communicate technical solutions in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical users.
Document troubleshooting steps and solutions for future reference.
Office Administration:
Contribute to special projects for company leadership, involving a wide variety of projects such as researching enterprise hardware/software purchases, moving paper processes online, and contributing to SOP documentation.
Assist with general office administrative tasks such as organizing activities, data entry, and maintaining office supplies.
Assist in organizing company events and activities.
Required Skills:
1-3 years of work experience. New college grads are also encouraged to apply.
Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, and operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
Familiarity with networking concepts and troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
Experience with office productivity software (e.G., Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace) is a plus.
Previous experience in IT support, operations, project/event management, or office administration is preferred but not required.
