Inventory Control & Quality Specialist

Job Description
Maintain a complete and accurate inventory at the Central Distribution Center working with management to achieve all goals associated with inventory control. Responsibilities include but are not limited to customer service support, general problem solving, tracking shipments and investigating delivery exceptions.
INVENTORY CONTROL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform, record, and report cycle count according to cycle count codes.
Work with Quality regarding “On Hold” doors, inventory checking, re-labeling and general quality concerns.
Responsible for receiving inbound product and correct receipt in system.
Internal disposition – put away.
Check all returned product in upon return to the CDC.
Match product with Return Tickets
Disposition return doors out of good inventory into RTS
Manage material being returned for salvage and scrap to salvage operation.
Move damaged stock doors into correct system location.
Research and process Inventory Policy and Fulfillment Type change needs for location.
Plan outbound loads or partial loads in the absence of the Outbound Traffic Coordinator or his assistant.
Track, receive &
label all incoming containers on a daily basis
Partner with Inventory Control Analyst on all daily data collection.
SHIIPING CLERK JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitor and manage freight damage procedures and administer loss claims for damaged or lost product with contracted carriers and third-party pool partner carriers. Monitor losses and report unclaimed freight losses to CDC manager on a regular basis corresponding to aging claims.
Promptly respond to e-mails, voice mails and phone calls from Larson customer service, dealers or customer who might be calling regarding customer deliveries or issues with delivery.
Print pick report documents and labels for all outbound loads which support shop floor activities, as well as necessary fulfillment instructions or directions.
Other Shipping Clerk functions as trained &
assigned.
