We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Inventory and Yield Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and revenue management, with a focus on optimizing inventory and maximizing yield. This role will be responsible for overseeing the inventory management and pricing strategy for all properties under our management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement inventory and pricing strategies to maximize revenue and occupancy for all properties under management
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and demand to make data-driven decisions
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to create promotional strategies and packages to drive bookings and revenue
- Conduct regular audits of inventory and pricing to ensure accuracy and consistency across all channels
- Train and mentor on-site teams on inventory management and pricing strategies
- Develop and maintain relationships with third-party booking channels and negotiate favorable terms and conditions
- Work closely with revenue management and finance teams to analyze and report on key performance metrics
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness of inventory and yield management
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our strategies and processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in hospitality revenue management, with a focus on inventory and yield management
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven track record of implementing successful inventory and pricing strategies to drive revenue and occupancy
- Experience with revenue management systems and third-party booking channels
- Knowledge of hotel operations and industry trends
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Willingness to travel to different properties as needed
