About the job:

Surgery Scheduler performs a variety of clerical functions to maintain smooth operation of the Radiology clerical and film/ Image file areas. Also, responsible for obtaining, recording and relaying accurate information required for scheduling cases.

What we are looking for:

· Education:
High school graduate or equivalent.

· Licensure / Certification:
Experience:
Minimum of one to three years Operating Room experience preferred

· Effective Communication Skills

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office, hospital, and OR information system software

· Customer service oriented

· Demonstrates excellent interpersonal relationship skills

What you will do:

· Supports patient care in imaging services, ensures an environment of patient safety, supports evidence-based practice and quality initiatives and exhibits professionalism within established Radiology and Imaging National standards.

Communicates pertinent clinical information to appropriate members of Surgical Services

· Coordinates multiple procedures, surgeons, ancillary departments, and prepares case preference cards

· Enters post case usage data and verifies QA reports to process patient charges

· Functions as liaison with physician, office staff, patient and hospital staff

· All other duties as assigned.
