Our team is looking to bring on an Intelligence Analyst to support a global technology client in San Francisco. The Intelligence Analyst will coordinate directly with the Client's security stakeholders to enhance the identification and coordination—as well as the overall response to—real-time and future risks that may impact the Client's operations or personnel on a global or site-specific basis.
Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to the following:
Proactively identify, monitor, research, analyze and provide warnings regarding emerging threats and trends worldwide that may impact the Client's security planning and potentially impact the stability of its operations
Identification and monitoring activities:

Detect and provide rapid assessments of “breaking” security situations as needed
Identify and develop resources for travel-related threat information on a global basis, including internet, databases, public records, media, law enforcement, government sources, contracted services and other related resources
Act as part of the central repository for the collection of information necessary for the analysis of the Client's security incident reports and suspicious activity logs on a global basis
Analytical activities:

Assist in the development of threat response contingency plans and emergency response for Client sites and other critical assets
Dissemination activities:

Provide reports or briefings on strategic or specific security issues as directed by the Protective Intelligence Manager
Stakeholder engagement activities:

Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in history, political science, international relations, intelligence analysis, criminal justice, regional studies, or a related discipline
2+ years of experience in intelligence, travel security, protective intelligence, security analysis, threat management, risk management or a related field
Proven ability to accurately draw conclusions by synthesizing raw data and information from multiple, unrelated sources into a finished comprehensive product
Ability to identify and solve complex problems and carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision, at times under adverse and stressful conditions
Availability to work on emergency situations during off-hours and if necessary, for an extended period of time
Ability to interact effectively at all levels of an organization and across diverse cultural and language barriers
Ability to quickly adapt to the external environment and organization
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize
Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
Ability to perform under pressure and respond rapidly to breaking situations within tight timelines
Excellent research, analytical, writing, and verbal presentation skills
Ability to carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision, at times under adverse and stressful conditions
Ability to deal effectively with others in order to collect, evaluate and organize pertinent facts and employ multi-disciplinary analysis both with and without systems support
Keen understanding of social media monitoring techniques
Foreign Language Skills preferred
The base salary range for this position in California is $90,000-$100,000 per year. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This information is provided per California SB 1162.
