Inside Sales - Account Manager

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CLASS:
The primary focus of Inside Sales Account Manager is to provide quality service to our customers. The Inside Sales - Account Manager will effectively communicate with a diverse customer base via phone, email, and fax in order to make outbound sales calls, respond to inquiries, place orders, problem solve, obtain information, and communicate product information;
as well as identify andcomplete revenue generating opportunities with customers and prospects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Maintenance and growth of assigned accounts (cross sell/up sell) via regular telephone contact
· Acquisition of new customers via warm lead follow-up and cold calling as well as reactivation of lost customers
· Manage both short- and long-term sales cycles through customer partnerships
· Share customer insights to provide feedback to leadership for the creation of sales and marketing promotions
· Maintain accurate customer information with frequent updates within internal ERP and CRM
· Promote company brand and customer-oriented culture
· Responsible for achieving all goals and metrics as assigned.
· Provide superior customer service through effectively responding to all inbound customer calls, email, and faxes.
· Provide outbound communication as necessary to resolve or follow-up on issues.
· Perform revenue generating activities wherever applicable, including:
o Cross-Selling, Up-Selling or Category Growth Selling activities
o Lead Generation or Referral Generation activities
o Qualification and Profiling activities
· Assist with all sales related duties where assigned
o Answering sales and customer service related inbound calls
o Make outbound sales or service-related calls as requested
o Help drive special initiatives such as rebate programs, campaigns, web sales growth or others as requested by management
· Utilize all available tools, including ERP system and CRM database.
· Accurately create and maintain customer records in ERP and CRM systems, including order preferences, product specific feedback, address information, billing information, and contact preferences.
RELATED DUTIES:
· Any additional duties assigned by supervisor and/or manager.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Training and Experience
· Ideal to have dental product knowledge. (Dental Implant knowledge/experience a plus.)
· Ideal to have customer service/phone center experience
· High school diploma, GED, or higher.
Knowledge, Abilities and Skills
· One years customer service experience in either a call center environment featuring a moderate to high volume of inbound and outbound calls or a manufacturing environment. Some sales experience preferred
· Experience with an order management system, including a CRM is preferred.
· Or equivalent combination of training and experience.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Long periods of sitting, talking and computer work
- Working Conditions
Office environment and occasional exposure to manufacturing plant environment, with some abnormal variations in temperature, unavoidable fumes, noise, dust and atmospheric conditions.
