Job Description:
ACT1 Federal is seeking a Information Systems Security Manager with a current Department of Defense (DoD) 8570 Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level 3 certification. This position will support the Ted Stevens Center for Arctic Security Studies, the newest of six DoD Regional Centers. The Center is located on Joint Base Elmendorf Richardson (JBER) in Anchorage, AK but remote work is an option.
Responsibilities:
Coordinating with Government IT to ensure Ted Stevens Center is compliant with DoD regulations.
Develop and document organizational information security policies, standards, and procedures.
Ensure compliance with federal security requirements across all systems.
Provide advice and assist with establishing security standard operating procedures.
Provide additional IT team support as requested/required.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
Current DoD 8570 Information Assurance Management (IAM) level 3 certification
Experience using federal automated Risk Management Framework tools, such as eMass.
Experience with system and network NIST 800-53 compliance.
Must have a minimum two (2) years’ experience working in U.S. Government information security, knowledge of Department of Defense information technology policies, regulations, and instructions.
Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree in a computer- related field and/or systems/software development certification.
