POSITION ANNOUNCEMENT:
Individual GivingManager

As the official philanthropic and collaborative partner of GrandCanyon National Park, Grand Canyon Conservancy’s mission is toinspire generations of park champions to cherish and support thenatural and cultural wonder of the Grand Canyon. GCC raises privatefunds, operates retail shops within the park, and provides premiereducational programs about the natural and cultural history of theregion.

Grand Canyon Conservancy (GCC) is seeking an Individual GivingManager who will manage a portfolio of prospects, driving theidentification, cultivation, and solicitation strategies to securegifts of $10,000 or more while growing the Grand Guardians programfor donors of $1,000-$20,000. Operating independently and incollaboration with GCC's Philanthropy Operations Team, thisindividual will play a crucial role in identifying and qualifyingnew prospects, actively soliciting and stewarding existing donors,and ensuring the achievement of specific fundraisingtargets.

The Individual Giving Manager is a remote (within a five-hourdrive from the South Rim), benefit-eligible, full-time, exemptposition that reports to the Senior Philanthropy Officer,Individual Giving.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties include, but are not limited to, the tasks listedbelow:

Effectively manages, solicits, cultivates, and grows aportfolio of individual donors with the capacity to make gifts of$10K+ while developing engagement, solicitation, and retentionstrategies to annually grow and upgrade donors in the GrandGuardians Program (donors of $1,000-$20,000).
Collaborate with team members to engage mid-level donors toensure a consistent pipeline of major gift prospects
Maximize fundraising capacity in the region through strongnetworking and engaging activities
Collaborate with team members to manage constituentinformation, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
Conducts donor discovery, cultivation, and solicitation visitswith prospects and donors, aiming for 10-12 visits/meaningfulinteractions each month
Work closely with the philanthropy team to identify GCC'spriorities and engage donors and prospects through outreach andactivities
Quickly respond to donor requests through writtencorrespondence, telephone contact, personal visits, and e-mail
Plan and coordinate donor events to identify new prospects andcultivate existing donors with the assistance of the Philanthropyand Event teams
Employ a growth mindset and contribute to a culture ofphilanthropy

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's Degree or significant professional experience in arelated field
Three to five years of frontline fundraising or experienceworking one-on-one with individuals to build meaningfulrelationships
Valid Drivers license with the ability to travel approximately30% to 40% of the time within Northern Arizona and beyond forstrategic meetings and events

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ANDCHARACTERISTICS

Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a teamof highly enthusiastic, dedicated people focused on engagingdonors, prospects, and partners in the vital work of ourorganization
Ability to maintain confidential donor and managementinformation
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, andstrong attention to detail and accuracy
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools,including Teams, SharePoint, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT is preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Performs approximately 60% to 70% of job duties in an officesetting, working with a computer and with colleagues
Ability to travel without assistance approximately 30% to 40%of the time
May occasionally work more than 40 hours per week or onweekends and holidays to meet critical deadlines and to attendspecial functions

TOTAL COMPENSATION

GCC provides a comprehensive benefits package including vacationand holiday pay, sick leave, Canyon Experience Days,employer-supplemented health benefits package including medical,dental, vision, and health savings account (HSA) plan,employer-paid long-term disability, and life insurance,employer-paid 401(k) retirement plan, and discounts in our retailstores and Grand Canyon Conservancy Field Institute offerings. Thehiring salary range for the position is $74,000 to $78,000annually.
