Falcon America is a dynamic and growing International Freight Forwarder and Customs Broker that is looking to expand their team of creative self-starters to support our growth.
Pay:
$60,000 - $70,00 Annually
Job Description:

As the Import Operator, you play a critical role in ensuring the secure and punctual transit of all import cargo through meticulous handling, prioritizing cost-effectiveness, and delivering swift, efficient service to our valued customers. From the inception to the completion of files, you meticulously adhere to company policies and procedures, cultivating a positive office environment. Your responsibilities are carried out in alignment with our stringent quality standards.
The Entry Writer ensures the proper classification, duty assessment, timely release, and overall compliance with US Government regulations for shipments where we are the nominated Customs Broker.
Job Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of combined experience in Import Operations and Customs Brokerage / Entry Writing with a focus on airfreight
  
• Willingness to expand existing skills and cross-train in Exports Operations
  
• Strong team player with excellent communication skills
  
• Creative problem-solving to complex logistics challenges
  
• Residency in the Chicago / ORD area
