Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain HVAC systems in residential and commercial buildings
- Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to determine the layout and installation requirements
- Measure and cut pipes and tubing to the correct length and install them in the designated locations
- Install and connect components such as compressors, motors, condensers, and evaporators
- Test and troubleshoot systems to ensure proper functioning and make any necessary repairs or adjustments
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while on job sites
- Communicate with customers to provide excellent customer service and answer any questions they may have
- Keep accurate records of work performed and materials used
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years experience as an HVAC installer
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and their components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions
