Job Description
Summary of Position
The HR Intern is responsible for assisting with general human resources activities including talent acquisition, employment transitions, event planning, data entry, filing, benefits administration and more. The HR Intern will provide employee support in alignment with Silfab Solar’s human resources processes and according to state and federal employment law.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Perform reception duties as needed by greeting visitors and fielding phone calls.
Field and/or respond to internal and external inquires on HR-related matters.
Support recruitment efforts by assisting the HR Recruiter with tasks and projects.
Assist with maintaining department records,reports,andupdating of the HRIS system.
Electronically upload and file important personnel documents.
Assist with data entry to support the NHO process.
Run reports in the HRIS system and export data for configuration.
Assist with managing employee attendance record keeping including supporting the roll-call process and absenteeism tracking.
Provide event-planning support for employee appreciation events, monthly townhalls, wellness fairs, hiring fairs, etc.
Assist with translating documents from English to Spanish.
Assist with interpreting for Spanish-speaking employees.
Provide general administrative support to the HR team.
Assume other duties as designated by the HR Manager.
