A partner company is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to join their team in Grand Rapids, MI. This role involves providing HR consulting and support to firm leaders, partners, supervisors, and staff across various specialties including Learning &

Responsibilities
Develop staff using performance management tools and programs.
Participate in determining hiring needs and strategy, including managing Campus Recruiting and Internship programs.
Provide guidance and support on staff relations issues.
Apply knowledge and experience of employment law and personnel policies.
Collaborate with leaders and the Total Rewards team in the compensation process.
Support staff onboarding and assist hiring managers.
Assist staff with navigating benefits, including leaves of absence and ADA accommodations.
Participate in various cross-functional HR and firmwide projects.
Consult directly with firm leaders on initiatives such as Inclusion &
Diversity, Audit of theFuture, Women In Leadership, WorkFlex, and more.
Requirements
3+ years of HR generalist experience with progressive responsibilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field.
Strong communication, organization, facilitation, and counseling skills.
PHR or SPHR certification is ideal.
Experience in a professional services organization is preferred.
Willingness to travel occasionally.
Must reside in or near Grand Rapids, MI, or be willing to relocate.
