Human Resource Internship - Summer 2024

Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Human Resource Intern to join our team. As a Human Resource Intern you will work directly with the People Team learning and supporting a wide range of exciting projects related to Onboarding/Offboarding, System Maintenance, Benefits, Recruiting and more! This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. You will learn how to take skills acquired in school and apply them in a professional setting. Our internship will offer you the autonomy to explore and experience life in a HR environment!
Overview of duties
Support the HR team in various areas including:
Total Rewards, Compliance, Talent Acquisition, Diversity&
Inclusion, Training, HRInformation Systems and more!
Assist in coordinating onboarding and orientation activities for new hires.
Maintaining HR records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Assist with HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement surveys, training programs, job descriptions, etc.
Conduct research on HR best practices and industry trends.
Provide excellent customer service to those contacting the HR department via phone and email by responding to inquiries/request in a timely manner.
Supports the HR team with additional requests or HR projects as needed.
