Streamline Innovations Inc., located in Midland, Texas, is seeking a proactive HSE Field Coordinator. This role is crucial for monitoring and enhancing the health, safety, and environmental (HSE) performance of company personnel, contractors, equipment, and worksites. The coordinator will collaborate closely with operations to integrate and reinforce a strong HSE culture throughout multiple levels of the organization.
Responsible for daily field and shop engagement, ensuring core processes and safe policies are reflected in operational practices. Field Safety Coordinators will actively identify safety risks and core operational process failures, seeking to influence compliance with a solutions-oriented approach. This individual will be an advocate of all field personnel and Streamline’s culture in the organization.
Responsibilities
Acts safety leader, ensuring compliance with OSHA, ANSI, API, NFPA standards, and both company and client safety protocols.
Responsible for communicating and applying federal, state, local and company HSE policies in addition to requirements within operations
Provide streamline professionals with ongoing employee safety and OSHA training in specific areas such as PEC, H2S, Man lift, Forklift, Fall Protection, etc.
Provide guidance to field personnel, supervisors, and management to ensure necessary resources are available and used to properly support the HSE program and operations.
Meet with customer safety and field professionals to conduct meetings and review job performance.
Develop and oversee HSE programs including risk management plans, emergency response planning, and audits.
Respond to emergency incidents, conduct thorough investigations, and prepare detailed reports and documentation.
Facilitate root cause analysis and participate in a 24-hour on-call rotation for emergency support.
Conduct monthly inspections and audits to ensure compliance, documenting findings and trends for management review.
Provide safety orientation, ongoing training, and support to new and existing personnel on various HSE topics.
Develop and manage a schedule for monthly safety meetings across the assigned region.
Regular field visits (60-80% travel within the region) to audit and enhance HSE practices.
Perform additional assignments or other duties for safety supervision and program maintenance as directed.
Requirements
High School diploma or equivalent;
further education or certifications in HSE preferred.
PEC Veriforce SafeLandUSA™2021, H2S Clear Authorized Instructor, Manlift &
Forklift Instructor Certification are preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a safety role, with a preference for candidates with chemical or gas plant experience.
Strong understanding of regulatory requirements with the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively.
Proficient with Microsoft Office and capable of managing data in safety management systems.
Excellent teamwork skills and a consultative approach to compliance and operations.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a clean motor vehicle record (MVR).
Required to pass both urine and hair follicle drug tests, as well as an alcohol test.
Ability to maintain effective work behaviors in the face of setbacks or pressure.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop practical and creative solutions.
Capable of making well-informed, effective, and timely decisions.
Must be able to push, pull, and lift 50lbs or more.
Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
