POSITION TITLE:
Human Resource Generalist
REPORTS TO:
Chief Operating Officer
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position reports to the COO and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administration of Talent Management and HR processes- including employment, compensation and benefits administration, employee relations, and the administration of Human Resource policies and procedures.
Recruitment and Onboarding New Hires and new employees gained through acquisition:
Design and deliver engaging onboarding programs for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the company and their role.
Introduce new hires to company culture, values, and policies.
Facilitate introductions to colleagues and teams.
Provide ongoing support and answer questions throughout the onboarding process.
Utilize recruitment internal and external platforms to onboard talent for all facets of the businesses.
Employee Relations &
Training:
Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by addressing employee concerns and resolving conflicts effectively.
Develop and deliver training programs aligned with company needs and employee development goals.
Manage performance management processes, including performance reviews and disciplinary actions.
Advise managers on employee relations matters and best practices.
Benefits &
Administration:
While our benefits program is outsourced, you will be responsible for communicating benefits information to employees and addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
Assist with enrollment and claims processes as needed.
Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Additional Responsibilities:
Stay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices.
Proactively identify and implement HR initiatives to improve employee engagement and satisfaction.
Partner with other departments across the organization to achieve common goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a closely related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a generalist or HR manager role.
Strong understanding of HR principles and practices, including recruitment, employee relations, and onboarding.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficient in HRIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
PHR Certification preferred.
Experience with mergers and acquisitions preferred.
