Full job description
Iron Chef Masaharu Morimoto is now hiring hourly FOH Supervisors who will also be servers for Momosan Santana Row, an upscale casual concept in the Morimoto portfolio. We are searching for a team who can work in a fast-paced environment, talented in multiple areas, can learn quickly, take on a large amount of responsibility, work as a team, and ensure Chef Morimoto's cuisine is prepared to the standard.
Hourly FOH Supervisor Essential Skills/Qualifications
- At least 2 years work experience in Food and Beverage, and at least 1 years of management in a high-volume restaurant.
- Ability to open and close the restaurant
- Ability to establish and maintain an effective working relationship with management, associates, and hourly employees.
- Effectively listen and administer instructions, make decisions quickly and delegate responsibilities accordingly, and remain calm and manage multiple tasks in a very high paced and stressful environment.
- Able to work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment and possess effective leadership, communication, and problem-solving, reasoning and analytical abilities.
- Must possess the physical stamina and proper mental attitude to deal effectively with guests, chefs, vendors, and employees while working under pressure.
- Ability to take the initiative with duties as outlined by General Manager and Restaurant Manager
