Job Description
The principal objective of this role is to service, diagnose and undertake repairs to a wide variety of open pit earthmoving equipment in accordance with OGC procedures and policies.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on modern mining equipment, including 400 t Shovels, 200t haul trucks (electric and mechanical drive), drills, dozers, and other mining machinery (Komatsu &
Caterpillar).
Diagnose mechanical issues, troubleshoot problems, and implement effective solutions to ensure equipment operates efficiently and safely.
Conduct preventative maintenance tasks, such as planned component changes, routine servicing, and component inspections, to minimize downtime and maximize equipment reliability.
Source technical information from the relevant OEM manuals, systems, technical bulletins, and service documentation.
Maintain accurate maintenance records, document work performed, and comply with safety and environmental regulations.
