1 Resource Group is currently hiring Field Service Mechanics with experience working on heavy wheeled construction equipment to cover the Raleigh, NC territory. As a Field Service Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of equipment to include excavators, compactors, crushers, screens, dump trucks, front end loaders to ensure optimal functionality and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
Perform maintenance and repairs on construction equipment such has excavators, compactors, crushers, screens, dump trucks, front end loaders, including diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions.
Repair or replace faulty components, parts, or systems using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment.
Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure reliability.
Collaborate with customers and team members to identify equipment issues and provide appropriate solutions.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work, including parts used and time spent on each job.

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience as a Field Service Mechanic working with dirt moving equipment or similar role.
Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
Proficiency with hand and power tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment as needed.

Incumbent must have a valid driver’s license, pass a background check and a good driving record (MVR), since employee will be driving company owned vehicle and will be covered under corporate insurance which has strict coverage requirements.
