Head Of Insurance Operations

Job Description
Assess the current operational capabilities of the insurance program operation in collaboration with the Head of Programs and the key operations executives within the group.
Develop a short, medium and long term strategy to fortify these capabilities to coincide with the growth expectations of the unit.
Assume responsibility for the execution of this strategy, in conjunction with key support units within the broader organization;
ensure that progress ismade in a timely manner;
make adjustments as needed;
follow each stage through to completion;
and continuously monitor our entire operational processes to make certain they meet or exceed our needs.
Work with the underwriting team to ensure that their support needs are anticipated and met.
Communicate with our external program insurance partners to facilitate their support and participation in achieving our operational goals.
Ad hoc reports and projects
Manage other internal projects through coordination across departments (underwriting, claims, actuarial and accounting).
