Designs and produces graphic art and visual materials for print and digital media. Ensures that layout and design are aligned with brand and production standards and follow best practices. Creates and executes design solutions and collateral used for marketing, advertising, sales, and other forms of communication. Coordinates with customers and stakeholders to conceptualize and deliver projects on time and budget. Experience with a variety of design and editing tools and software, such as the Adobe Suite, among others as well as a working knowledge of color, composition, typography, digital design, and production management.
The Graphic Designer produces visual content to help drive campaigns that deliver Marketing Qualified Leads to sales while engaging the customer base to promote the company brands. Our ideal candidate is creative, diligent, forward thinking, responsive, innovative, analytical, and is a great teammate. This position has a starting salary of $55k-60K per year and reports to the Director of Marketing.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Graphic Design
· Provide graphic design for print and digital marketing assets for all StoneAge brands (StoneAge, Warthog, Breadware) including:
product catalogs, tech manuals, tool talks, annual reports, print/digital advertising, tradeshow displays, product collateral, brand playbook, newsletters (1 per brand per month).
· Lead these graphic design projects by managing their schedules, review process with stakeholders, and final delivery/printing.
· Be the steward of the StoneAge and Breadware style guides and brand aesthetic.
· Ensure marketing materials undergo regular review for accuracy/updates and adherence to brand guidelines.
· Use the Adobe Creative Cloud suite of apps to generate and edit messaging in marketing collateral including brochures, advertising, catalogs, websites...Etc.
· Manage creative projects with internal/external designers, writers, and developers to deliver content when required.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, engineering, and product strategy, to understand project requirements and deliver effective design solutions.
· Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Stay up to date on industry trends and best practices in graphic design, incorporating innovative ideas into various marketing strategies.
· Provide support for other marketing projects as assigned.
Requirements
The Graphic Designer must:
· Have 3-5 years of Graphic Design experience
· Degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications or relevant field preferred
· Learn and understand Breadware and StoneAge product lines and market segments
· Learn and utilize marketing infrastructure software for communication and project management, including:
Asana, Teams, Dropbox…etc.
· Be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships with other employees and communicate and interact effectively with team members at all levels through both verbal and written means.
· Be self-motivated, disciplined, and able to work independently
· Be a strategic thinker, and customer service driven
· Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
OTHER INFORMATION
· Travel may be required.
· Responsibilities may require extended working hours beyond normal business hours.
