Graphic Design Director, Men’s Footwear
Our client is seeking a visionary Graphic Design Director with a profound understanding of art, elevated craft, and high taste level.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Graphic Design Director, Men’s Footwear Responsibilities:
Lead the creation of groundbreaking design directions that push the boundaries of creativity and innovation in Men’s Footwear graphics.
Translate partner and brand visions into impactful graphics and prints that resonate on global stages.
Collaborate closely with Footwear Directors and cross-functional partners to align design initiatives with brand objectives.
Manage and mentor a creative team, fostering a collaborative environment where diverse visions thrive.
Guide the team through all stages of design, from concept development to final execution.
Utilize storytelling skills to articulate design concepts effectively.
Present design concepts and strategies to internal and external stakeholders with mastery and clarity.
Lead product creation processes, leveraging 3D capabilities and ensuring alignment with manufacturing requirements.
Graphic Design Director, Men’s Footwear Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Men’s Footwear or related fields, with a background in product design triad and studio experience highly preferred.
Management experience, including overseeing 3-5 direct reports.
HS diploma or equivalent education required.
Strong skills in illustration, typography, brand identity, and color theory.
Proficiency in digital design software, particularly Adobe Creative Suite.
Deep understanding of footwear make and manufacturing processes.
Profound knowledge of elevated craft and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and manage multiple projects effectively.
Collaborative spirit with exceptional soft skills including a positive, proactive nature;
ability to drive clarity and find solutions;
disciplined yet collaborative approach;
and clear communication.
Compensation:
$50-$56.67/hr. (DOE)
