Glass & Warehouse Production Supervisor

The Glass &
Warehouse Supervisor isresponsible for the day-to-day operations within their respective area(s). They ensure that the area is running smoothly, and daily schedules and targets are achieved. The ensure all equipment and operators are performing their tasks in a safe manner. The position reports to the Cassville Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
* Maintains product quality by ensuring Work Instructions and Procedures are up to date and followed.
* Enforces strict safety guidelines and ensure all required inspections are completed.
* Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel;
establishing priorities;
monitoring progress;
and
Resolving problems as they arise.
* Ensures proper operation of equipment, balancing quality, productivity, cost, safety, and morale to achieve positive results.
* Plays an active role in the company's continuous improvement plan to achieve current plans and to ensure future growth of
The company.
* Assists in accident investigations.
* Ensures all labor forms are accurate and turned in on a timely basis.
* Authorizes employee vacation requests.
* Reports plant or machinery breakdowns to maintenance technicians.
* Identifies, tracks, and provides training to employees on each function they perform, focusing on cross-training of all
Members.
* Performs regular employee evaluations.
* Continually evaluates and maintains areas of responsibility for 5S initiatives.
* Ensures production information is entered into system daily.
Requirements
* Ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
* Ability to supervise and lead a team while working hands-on.
* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and provide solutions.
* Ability to simultaneously manage multiple tasks/priorities.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs is a plus.
* Previous supervisory experience a plus.
