Geotechnical Dam Safety Engineer

Job Description
AECOMis seeking a highly talentedGeotechnical Dam Safety Engineer to join the East Region Dams Team. This position will support a variety Dam Safety Engineering projects across the East Region. The successful candidate will join theENR consistently ranked #1 Dams and Reservoirs firmand have access to exciting career advancement opportunities. This position will report to one of the AECOM offices in the East Region including but not limited to Germantown, Maryland;
Conshohocken, Pennsylvania;
Franklin Tennessee;
or Syracuse, New York.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide technical support for projects including design, analysis, inspection, construction. observation, and regulatory compliance activities associated with a variety of hydraulic structures.
Prepare and perform quality reviews of other Engineer's work on deliverables such design calculations, engineering reports, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
Work with multi-disciplinary teams on a variety of Dam Safety Engineering projects.
Responsible for quality control.
Provide guidance and mentorship junior staff.
Develop engineering proposals.
Flexibility and willingness to travel for project work part time as needed.
Assist and perform the roles of a Project Manager such as maintaining client relationships, contracting, project planning and execution, financial management, technical management, change management and project team management.
