GENERAL MANAGER
Full Time -Timonium, MD, US

Your job:
Develop procedures and direct all production flow related activities through the respective departments to achieve company goals and objectives.
Establish and execute ongoing direct communication for all production flow issues to department supervisors.
Initiate meaningful reports, meet daily with department supervisors, and communicate issues or barriers in production flow.
Assist in the development, execution, and monitoring of the companys production project timelines to ensure tasks are complete on time.
Generation of optimal production levels in all cases, resulting in shorter turnaround times, reduction of labor and higher quality products and services.
Analyze, manage, and interpret logistic issues and data to optimize production, labor, and service levels. Make recommendations to management for improvement.
Identify, monitor, and review appropriate benchmarks/productivity measures reflective of the labs performance within assigned personnel. Take corrective action as required.
Meet operational budget targets and ensure personnel are practicing cost control.
Delegate responsibilities to the team while enforcing all policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, training programs, and cultural values.
Your skills:
BS degree or equivalent of five+ (5) years in a leadership and management role, emphasis in manufacturing, production scheduling, and logistics preferred.
Expertise in operations management, strategic planning and execution, and employee motivation techniques.
Dental lab management experience highly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to respond effectively to multiple conflicting priorities, priorities deliverables and respond to unexpected change.
Knowledge of regulations governing OSHA, IDO9000, DOT, pricing, and fair trade.
MS Office Suite knowledge with ability to learn new programs.

Location:
Our network of dental laboratories spans six states, with labs in Florida, Connecticut, Maryland, Mississippi, Texas, Rhode Island, and New York. The Leixir Home Office is in Tampa, Florida. This position will work out of Leixir Maryland at Thompson Suburban Dental Lab, located in Timonium, MD. You may travel to the Home Office or other Leixir locations from time to time for training or leadership meetings.
Interview Process

Information Screening:
The Talent Manager will have a 20-to-30-minute phone conversation focused on relevant work experience, compensation, role overview, and answering any questions you may have.
Panel Interview:
60-minute interview with two to three key members of the team. The interview will dive deeper into the role, technical knowledge, and requirements of the position. Depending on availability, this will either be on-site or conducted virtually via Teams.
CEO Discussion:
60-minute interview with Leixir CEO, Christian LeBrun.
On-site visit:
Qualified candidates will be invited to spend approximately 4 hours at the lab, accompanied by a key leader. You will introduce yourself to the team, give an overview of your background/experience and answer any questions the team may have. In addition, you will meet with the Production and Operation leaders to understand the wins and opportunities of the lab in its current state.
Offer:
The Talent Manager will reach out with the details of the informal offer for discussion. After all the details of the informal offer are finalized, the formal offer letter and job description will be sent.
