Amazing Athletes was created to provide the best programming and service in the market for youth sports, starting with their first sports experience. Children need to have FUN while learning the fundamentals of sport. Our goal is to provide an experience where every child is an athlete. The long-term impact will create healthy habits at a young age, teach life skills and increase youth activity across the board.
Amazing Athletes was founded in 2003 and has grown into one of the nations largest multi sport enrichment programs with over 50,000 kids enrolled each year throughout the country. Our programs come with ready-made curriculums and extensive training to help you get up to speed quickly and enjoy working with the kids!
We are seeking a General Manager for our multi-sport enrichment program in the North Suburbs of Chicago.
Candidate will begin a "
Manager in training"
program for 30-45 days
Quickly understand the business model and how our business operates
Manage a staff of up to 20 coaches during peak time
Develop business strategy that increases enrollment and revenue by working with local elementary schools for after school programming
Develop an open enrollment program by working with parks, park districts, and local businesses (may include Saturdays)
Develop a strategy for one day camps on elementary school holidays
Assist in strategy determining product expansion
Develop and lead social media campaigns
Build rapport and relationship with clients
Onboard and train new coaches
Find and attend local children's expos
Coach sports and fitness classes when needed
Requirements
The majority of classes are held during the morning and early afternoon hours. The ideal candidate is available 20-25 hours per week. Job requirements are:
High School Diploma or equivalency
Customer service skills
Organization skills
Excellent communication skills
Ability to lead sports and physical fitness classes
Sales experience a plus
Excel or equivalent skills
Must be willing to learn new technological platforms
Your own reliable transportation
Benefits
Part time position. 20-25 hours per week
$26,000 per year
