Summary
The General Maintenance Engineer II is willing and able to perform basic building maintenance projects. Shift will run from 3:
30pm-12:
00am.

Essential Job Functions
- Able to perform basic building maintenance, i.E. repairs, small furniture repairs, painting touch-ups, etc.
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Maintain a polite and courteous attitude toward hotel guests
- Maintains clear and uncluttered work areas
- Respond and attend to guest repair request
- Communicate with guests/customers to resolve maintenance issues
- Identify, locate, and operate shut-off valves for equipment and all utility shut-offs for building
- Test, troubleshoot, and perform basic repairs on all types of equipment, plumbing (e.G., plunge toilets and unclog drains), electrical components including lamps, cosmetic items, extension cords, vacuum cleaners;
replace electrical switches and outlets, and other guestroom items.
- Display basic computer skills
- Make Manager aware of guest's comments and complaints
- Report to work in a neatly groomed and acceptable manner as outlined in the employee handbook
- Report to shift on time.
- Comply with all policies and procedures for the Engineering Department, The Little Nell, and Aspen Skiing Company
- Is familiar with hotel fire and safety procedures. Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management
- Complete tasks and projects delegated by your manager and assist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demand
