About the Team:
The Fund Administration team is a growing, fast-paced business unit responsible for maintaining direct client relationships, as well as the day-to-day accounting and administration of closed-end funds managed by clients.
What You Will Be Doing:
Use financial data to prepare and record general ledger journal entries
Process shareholder activity within allocation tables and reconcile within Investran
Prepare daily and month-end reconciliations (including cash, positions, market price, market value, and accrued interest/dividends) to supporting schedules
Assist with client onboarding which includes, but not limited to, loading of client's Funds, Investors, Deals, and position tax lots data, as well as cash balance and trial balance into Investran
Assist in year-end audits by providing backup documentation for sampling selected by either internal or client's auditors
Prepare expense budget analysis and perform expense calculations
Calculate net assets for partnerships and unitized funds, allocate profit and loss to each investor including:
Management fees
Incentive fee calculations
Carried Interest
Calculate and review fund returns
Coordinate the preparation and distribution of the investor capital statement
Process Investor and Shareholder Activity
Ensure client month-end and reporting deliverables are satisfied
Work closely with clients to resolve inquiries and ensure client satisfaction.
Work well in a team environment to achieve common goals
Cross-train on other daily functions
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
Typically, at least 2 years' experience in middle office operations or fund accounting with private equity funds
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, advanced Excel skills
Working knowledge of securities and private equity assets
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to multi-task
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Attention to detail and capable of taking initiative
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines without constant supervision
Added Bonus If You Have:
Detailed knowledge of accounting allocations (Investran)
Experience onboarding funds onto accounting systems
Proficiency with Power Query (Excel)

The pay range for this full-time position is $62,170.00 - $(phone number removed) and reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this position based on the posted role, level, and location. Within the range, actual individual starting pay is determined additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Any changes in work location will also impact actual individual starting pay.
