Position Overview:
As the Bookkeeper, you will play a vital role in managing the financial records and transactions of our company. This position offers an exciting opportunity to utilize your bookkeeping skills and contribute to the financial health of our organization.
Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software.
Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions in a timely manner.
Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to ensure accuracy.
Prepare and process payroll for employees, including calculating taxes and deductions.
Assist with month-end and year-end financial close processes.
Generate financial reports and summaries for management review.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities as needed.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;
Bachelor's degree preferred.
2+ years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles.
Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
