Occupational therapists at Masada get ample mentorship through group and individual supervision in a supportive and collaborative environment. Occupational therapists provide outpatient community mental health services to adult clients ages 18-end of life experiencing a variety of behavioral health challenges. Most commonly clients experience symptoms related to diagnoses such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, schizophrenia, substance abuse, or ADHD. Services are provided virtually, at home, in schools, and in the community as needed by the clients. OTs are expected to drive between clients and be autonomous in scheduling their assigned caseload weekly. Strong organization and communication skills are a must. OTs work on an interdisciplinary team of providers within the Full Service Partnership (FSP), OCS, and other intensive service programs (AOT) through funding from the Department of Mental Health. An Occupational Therapist is responsible for the provision of comprehensive occupational therapy services to assigned clients and families referred from therapy staff. Occupational therapists are expected to exercise professional judgment and discretion as practitioners and collaborators in the treatment of clients. The position involves working designated shifts under the direct supervision of the Director of Occupational Therapy. Bilingual Spanish speaking is strongly preferred.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (graduates of a qualified Occupational Therapy program prior to 2004), Master’s Degree or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy.
Successfully graduated from an accredited entry-level occupational therapy program recognized by the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education.
Certified by the National Board for Certification of Occupational Therapy.
Currently licensed by the California Board of Occupational Therapy.
Valid California Driver's License, good driving record, and must be able to drive to fulfill the duties of the position.

Competitive Salary:
Tier 1:
$75,000-$85,000 per year. Tier 2:
$85,001- $95,0000 per year.
